'We don't see things as they are, we see things as we are..." - Anais Nin
This city i live in makes me take pictures.
Even though i've been here my entire life, i appreciate it more as each year goes by. And i appreciate it the most with a camera in my hand.
This isMy NY, and there's almost nothing more i like to do than share it.
Brooklyn is my hometown, but i dont often see the beauty - both odd and obvious- thats all over it anywhere else. This is The BK i See.
People, Faces, Hands and Bodies. Portraiture is my new area of focus, and these are just my first few trys.
My Graphic Design Work is... well just that. Graphic designer by career, photography is my life-long visual love. I want very much to integrate the two more often in the future.
Fashion/Event Fashion photography has interested me more and more as i've been taking my photography more seriously.
One of the hazards of having too many millionaire mayors in a row...amazing things like Coney island are allowed to be crunched under the heel of overactive developers. My small attempt at keeping a little bit of Coney Island, Baby!
What do you do with mistakes - intriguing and brilliant by accident ? Call 'em Abstract-ishand upload 'em.
Been taking my photography more seriously since getting my first digital a few years ago. Now i feel naked if i leave my place without it. The only thing that feels better in my hands than my camera - is really none of your business. Featured in two juried art shows, as well as in "L" Magazines' 2007 Annual Best of Photography Issue, and in June of 2009 had images in The New York Post. Currently also freelancing for online magazine, Brokelyn.com.
One of the things i like best about collecting these moments is sharing. Feel free to give any feedback.
I am blessed to be here and see this city as i do. Namaste all.
